Funfetti Cake Batter Ice Cream (Made with Bananas)

You may be noticing a funfetti theme here. And you know what, I’m not ashamed of it. Who doesn’t love something with bright multi-colored sprinkles in it. But the best part about this recipe is the fact that it is made with bananas. I know what you’re thinking – “Ok, then it must be disgusting. Why would I eat it?” Well, yes, you’re right, it’s not the same as ice cream. BUT it still tastes delicious in its own way (and you can trust me because normally I’m a doubter when people try to make desserts healthy).

Watermelon Tequila Popsicles

Guys, drop everything you’re doing and go buy yourself a popsicle mold before tomorrow so that you can enjoy these amazing popsicles on Memorial Day (I have a slightly fancier popsicle maker which I used here, but you can also just do the classic plastic ones, or buy paper cups and wood sticks). I’ll be enjoying these at the pool today.

My Favorite Meal of the Week – Popsicle Edition

So I’ve been eyeing those Zoku quick pop makers for over a year, but had so far convinced myself that it was just an extra kitchen gadget that I didn’t need. Well that is until last week, when I found one at a small kitchen boutique store in DC and decided that I had to have one. And while I have to say it is totally unnecessary because there’s nothing wrong with the old school popsicle makers, it is kinda fun. Last night I decided to make some last minute popsicles for dessert and they were ready in 10 minutes. Pretty fantastic. I plan to try out lots of fun recipes over the course of the summer, so you’ll likely see some more posts like this. But here’s the first.
